Quite simply, writing is my passion and my purpose. I have been working as a professional copywriter since 1998, first in New York City, then Philadelphia, and now in Boulder, Colorado. Over the years I have worked for hundreds of clients, big and small, in fields as diverse as healthcare, banking, non-profit, retail, health and beauty, and personal improvement. In addition to advertising and marketing copy, I also had my first collection of short stories published in February of 2009. I have another book, A Heart Blown Open, coming out in February 2012. I am also a teacher of Zen and of Northern Shaolin Kung Fu, and bring the same level of focus and grace to my writing as I do to those two disciplines. Writing is what I do.
